Shiloh Falls at Sunset

I've started carrying my nice Canon SLR digital camera with me in the truck wherever I go. Last night I turned around after closing the gate in the driveway and took this photo of the house. You can see why people talk about the "Big Skies" in Texas. Coming home to this makes that 45 minute drive really worthwhile.

That's exactly what I tell everyone that I work with about my drive...when I get home to Bu's Bocage I feel like I've gone on vacation.

What model of Canon is your digital? I've started shopping for a digital to supplement the 35yr old Canon FTb 35mm SLR that I love.
But I need to keep it relatively simple so my tech-challenged husband can use it too.

Hey, sorry for the late reply -- I didn't realize I turned off email forwarding on comments. I was thinking "Damn, I'm rockin' it on the blog and I'm gettin' nothing!"

Anyway, it's a Canon Digital Rebel EOS (model DS6041) with a dinky lens on it. I am such a noob when it comes to photography, but even I know that my lens is crappy :-) I need to sit down and talk to someone who knows about photography so I can learn how much I don't know :-/
