Annieism: The Vision Thing

So I'm talking with Annie last night and she's telling me the various symptoms that can arise with hypothyroidism. After a bit the list runs down and we return to watching "American Idol". Suddenly she remembers one (or is it two?) and blurts out "Also, I have carpal tunnel vision!"

Now I know what carpal tunnel is, and I know what tunnel vision is, but for the life of me I don't know what carpal tunnel vision is. Can anyone help me out? I can't tell if she gets eye cramps or her hands only line up in one certain direction to the exclusion of all others ...
