Brokeback Pasture

We think maybe one -- or more -- of our geldings are, shall we say, "playing for the other team". Or maybe they were just auditioning for a guest role in "Brokeback Mountain", I dunno. Here's the photo so you can decide for yourself if the kissing is sincere or just part of an audition.

Oh, to be able to listen in to that conversation... "Hey, think we can break outta this place?" "Hey, we got it pretty good here -- nice folks, lots food and plenty of entertainment with cement trucks mangling up gates..." Of course, they could just be up to male horse bonding or whatever it is they do in the equine kingdom.
Jeff, I went to the waiter's blog. It's quite good, but it made me sad, especially the one about the lady who came in and had just lost her child. Good replies from readers of the blog, too. However, I would say yours is head and shoulders above that site, especially in the quality of the writing of the blog's owner.
What's that the horse is whispering?
"Ah wish ah could qwit yew!"
Ah, the horse whisperer, indeed!
ROFL John! Very funny!
And thanks Denise, that's why relatives are so great :-p
Jill -- somebody told me it was just a love story for everybody. I'm sensing that's wrong?!
Thanks, Jill. I try to be open minded in the movies, but this is one where I was really hesitant. Now I'll save my money, stay home, and watch "The Sandlot" again! I love a good love story, but "real" people don't seem to like this movie very much. Thank you so much -- it's a rainy, icky afternoon and we're headed to the movies. I think we'll see "Glory Road" because I love those kinds of underdog movies.
